Laser Engraving
The laser engraver has been a real asset to the shop; but has not been a primary focus of marketing. Much of the laser is used is to make patterns for the shop and tracing outlines directly on material to be cut.

Train Whistles
The whistle engraving was the first laser project. In fact, the whistles were needed for a birthday party before the laser was scheduled for delivery. The vendor, Engraving Concepts, contacted manufacturer, Epilog, to expedite delivery.
Church Pulpit
The laser was used to cut out the alpha and the omega from walnut and maple.


Podium
The world map and quotation were laser engraved. There is also a dedication plaque inside.

CPO Hat Box
The yeoman symbol with the crossed quills are laser engraved on the top with the rank and name. The yeoman feathers are engraved on the front glass panel.
Coast Guard patches and personal mementos are engraved on the sides.



Super Bowl Plaque
The commemorative plaque is a collage made from engravings of the playoff tickets and Super Bowl ticket.
Floor Tiles
This was a project using the laser and a kiln. Each tile was masked and engraved. The tiles were then painted and fired in the kiln.


Name Plaque
The name plaque is made of maple with a walnut overlay.
