Custom Woodwork and Laser Engraving

Laser Projects

Below are some of the laser projects completed in the workshop.

Wooden Whistles

The whistle engraving was the first laser project. In fact, the whistles were needed for a birthday party before the laser was scheduled for delivered. The vendor, Engraving Concepts, contacted Epilog to expedite delivery.
The pulpit was designed for a church that was damaged during hurricane Katrina. Fabricating the scroll, from three sheets of maple veneer, was a unique challenge.

The laser was used to cut out the alpha and the omega from walnut and maple.
  CPO Hat Box

The CPO hat box is made of Pecan with Mahogany strips inlaid around the edges.

The podium was designed for a geography teacher. The laser was used to inscribe the quote and the world map.

"Opportunity is often missed because it comes disguised in overalls and looks like hard work." - Albert Einstein.

Saints Super Bowl Plaque

Inspiration for the Saints Super Bowl plaque came from a quarterly issue of "Laser Focus" which featured a baseball inlay.

The plaque was made as a souvenir for one of our vendors.
