About the workshop
Check out some Before & After photos of the workshop.
I started Papa's Workshop in 2002 to pursue custom woodworking as a retirement venture. The first year or so I worked out of my garage.
In January of 2004 I moved in to my first shop on Hickory Ave in Harahan, LA. The building had four rooms and a closed-in back porch. Space was limited; but, I managed to build some fairly large projects; the largest being a set of trophy cases that was 21 feet long x 9 feet high.
In August of 2010, a former auto garage on Jefferson Hwy in River Ridge, LA became available and my wife and I purchased it. It was a large open building with a small office in the front. I moved the shop there and began converting the building into the workshop.
